Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving · Assist with loading & unloading of trucks as needed. · Inspect items for defects and/or damage during shipping. · Report defective items or questionable conditions to management. · Record shortages, lost shipments, etc., and reporting missing items to management. · Accurately prepare items for shipment; determine best method of shipment. · Prepare/assemble containers for item shipment. · Process incoming receipts, i.e., unpack, prep hangers, steam, etc. · Route items to departments as instructed by management. · Ensure all back areas are clean, organized and maintained. · Follow loss prevention, department policies, procedures and objectives and safety procedures. · Assist with recurring physical inventory. Order Fulfillment · Proactively monitor and print online order requests for fulfillment throughout shift. · Collect merchandise throughout the store and match to orders with accuracy and speed. · Once stock is located, transfer merchandise, remove store security sensors, attach security tags and print shipping documents. · Create shipping labels for e-commerce orders utilizing UPS Worldship. · Verify that all outgoing merchandise is in excellent condition and have complete brand packaging/presentation. · Prepare/assemble containers for item shipment. · Respond promptly to company email correspondence. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing the materials inventory in our warehouse and ensuring the accurate and timely allocation of materials to the production team. This role is critical to maintaining efficient production operations and ensuring inventory levels are optimized to meet production demands. Essential Job Functions : 1. Inventory Management: - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of materials in the warehouse. - Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. - Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 2. Material Allocation: - Allocate materials to the production team based on production schedules and requirements. - Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas to avoid disruptions. - Coordinate with production managers to forecast material needs and adjust inventory levels accordingly. 3. Data Entry and Record Keeping: - Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments. - Update inventory management systems with real-time data. - Generate reports on inventory status, usage, and discrepancies. 4. Quality Control: - Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy. - Ensure that materials meet company standards and specifications. - Address any quality issues with suppliers and coordinate returns or replacements. 5. Coordination and Communication: - Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow. - Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant departments. - Assist in resolving any inventory-related problems or delays. 6. Fork-Lift Operator: - Be forklift certified and maintain safety standards in operating it.
