About the Role
At SriSai Biopharmaceutical Solutions (SBS), our Shipping & Receiving Associates are the backbone of our logistics operations. You will ensure that all inbound materials are received accurately and that outbound shipments meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and timeliness.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment where precision and compliance with GxP/cGMP standards are critical. By safeguarding the flow of materials and products, you will directly support SBSs mission to deliver life-saving pharmaceutical solutions with integrity and excellence.
What Youll Do
Receiving Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify all inbound shipments for quantity, quality, and documentation accuracy.
Record materials into the inventory management system within 24 hours of receipt.
Label, stage, and store materials in compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements.
Communicate and resolve discrepancies with Purchasing, Inventory, and QA.
Assist with unloading deliveries, lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
Shipping Responsibilities
Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and verification of documentation.
Assemble and prepare temperature-controlled containers (gel packs, dry ice, LN2) with 100% chain-of-custody accuracy.
Schedule pickups with approved couriers (FedEx, UPS, World Courier) and track shipments.
Maintain shipping logs and ensure audit-readiness at all times.
Resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues in real time.
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with Inventory, QA, and Facilities to ensure accurate material flow.
Participate in cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase speed, compliance, and accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping & receiving area.

Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
12 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics (biopharma/regulated industry preferred).
Comfortable using inventory systems, barcoding equipment, and handheld scanners.
Able to lift 2550 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to follow SOPs, GDP, and safety guidelines consistently.

Position Overview

Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily inventory management of all tools, parts and materials pertaining to the installation, repair, and construction activities within the region. Duties include inventory control, shipping, handling, receiving, and delivery of materials, as well as inventory database management for the region.This role also involves coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Manage shipping, receiving, and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of the company.
Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and damage, and document discrepancies.
Oversee converter room activities, if applicable, by location.
Maintain accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused, and dispersed.
Complete purchase orders with approved vendors for required materials.
Project advance inventory requirements in conjunction with operations manager.
Maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and the highest possible inventory turnovers.
Disperse tools and equipment to technicians and maintain employee receipt records.
Perform quarterly and annual audits of inventory items.
Deliver materials to satellite operations centers.
Maintain open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring the warehouse is safe, clean, and organized.
Monitor the condition of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure they are well-maintained and safe to use.
Other duties as assigned.

Location: This position is based at our Walkersville, MD site and is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Distribution Associate provides daily operational support to the Distribution Department, with working knowledge across Receiving, Shipping, and Warehousing. What you will do:
Proficient in execution in one of the three functional areas; (Receiving, Shipping, or Warehousing) with a general working knowledge in the remaining areas. Attain basic understanding of SAP transactions directly related to core area duties.

Continue with ongoing required area training to increase knowledge and understanding.
Complete ongoing Employee Health & Safety (EHS) awareness training.
Complete training on job-related equipment (i.e. pallets jacks, fork trucks, order pickers, motor vehicle use). Safely, properly and efficiently operate material handling equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
