Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and tidy warehouse environment for team members
Fulfill stock orders from Warehouse, deliver to stores in the terminals

Duties/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Prepares shipments for commercial conveyance.
Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders/sales orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments, initiates proof of delivery documents.
May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
May assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
May lock warehouse and set alarms.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Leads, guides, and trains employees performing related work.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions given in English.
Intermediate math skills including but not limited to addition and subtraction of fractions are required.
Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Manufacturing or food production experience.

+ Pack all shipment to ensure product is not damaged during shipping.
+ Pack, package, and label outgoing shipments as necessary to comply with customer requirements. Move outgoing shipments to the Staging Area.
+ Assist in taking and reconciling inventories of products stored in the Distribution Center.
+ Sweep, clean, pick up and dispose of trash in the Distribution Center.
+ Operate materials handling equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established corporate policy.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Work Experience:
+ High School diploma or equivalent in industry name required.
+ 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred.
