Participate in internal audits, customer complaint investigations, and CAPA activities as needed. Workplace Safety: Complete safety documentation and verify compliance with program standards. Participate in mandatory safety trainings and adhere to all safety policies. Report safety issues, near misses, and injuries immediately. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field preferred. Valid Driver's License; CDL desirable but not required. Demonstrated skill operating yard dog, including hooking/unhooking trailers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to work in both hot and cold environments. Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting. Strong attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Food Defense principles. Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or food safety within the food industry. Experience implementing or maintaining GFSI programs (e.g., BRC). Training in 5S, SPC, Six Sigma, or Lean manufacturing is a plus.
