Essential Functions * Follow a cleaning schedule to include cleaning and sanitizing of floors, carpets, instructional boards, wastebaskets, windows, window sills, furniture, equipment and restrooms. Move furniture or equipment within building, assist with lunchroom set up and facilities set up for special events as directed by campus administration, head custodian or assistant head custodian. * Perform minor maintenance to include painting, grease trap cleaning, mounting classroom instructional boards, and projection equipment. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of boiler room and report malfunctions to supervisor. Identify and correct unsafe conditions and report any major repair needs that are not correctable to supervisor. * Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Request additional supplies as needed. * Regulate heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems to provide appropriate temperatures and ensure economical usage of fuel, water and electricity based on district guidelines. * Assist with the cleaning and refinishing of floors, moving of furniture, books, inventory and set up of facilities for school events. * Follow established procedures for opening, securing, monitoring and safeguarding facilities. * Follow established safety procedures and techniques to operate tools and equipment. Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash and chemicals. * Assemble, disassemble, repair and refurbish furniture as needed. * Attendance at the work site is required to meet essential functions of the job. Member Service functions; open new accounts, checking, certificates, money markets, IRA, CD, account maintenance, and outbound new deposits, etc. Verifies eligibility for new accounts and processes through the system before opening the account. Specialized account functions; separation/divorce account changes, estate expertise, etc. Drives proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Loan origination functions: creating and processing a new loan application. This process includes gathering information from the borrower, assessing their creditworthiness, and determining the terms and conditions of the loan. This may include outbound loan win-back campaigns, etc. Provides timely responses to members and other team member requests. Accountable for the vault, dual-control access, and increased approval authority limits in coordination with leaders of branch locations. Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records. Orders a cash supply to meet daily needs. Adheres to all security policies for the branch, including the opening and closing procedures of the branch. Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and Wellby policies and procedures, including but not limited to completing and submitting Currency Transaction Reports, being knowledgeable of signs of unusual financial activities, and reporting signs of unusual activity and/or completing reporting for Suspicious Activity Report as appropriate per procedure. Completes all mandatory compliance testing by deadlines. Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and Wellby policies and procedures. May perform teller transaction functions as needed, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, etc., accurately and efficiently while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Minimum two (2) years experience in member service, financial services, or similar retail experience and/or bank teller. Strong sales skills to effectively promote credit union products and services to members. IRA and MOD experience preferred. Previous experience working with the public.
