Other Related Functions • Follows established standards of practice for image processing and interpretation. • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. • Maintains well stocked and organized work areas. • May be required to work at any facility • Provides patient transport. Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of an accredited school of sonography and meets American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) eligibility guidelines. Licensure/Certification • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate. • Maintains ARDMS physics registry and one ARDMS registry • Must be registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within twelve (12) months of hire Experience Knowledge of routine ultrasound procedures and routinely demonstrates competency in performing ultrasound examinations pertinent to department.
