The Ultrasound Technologist performs all ordered Duplex Ultrasound scans and assists the physician or provider in performing procedures for patients suffering from chronic venous insufficiency. The Ultrasound Technologist also participates in quality and safety initiatives, educating and motivating patients, and in practice building and administrative activities. At Children's Wisconsin, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our little patients. As an Ultrasound Technologist you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assisting with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment. Minimum Job Requirements: ARDMS - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen required upon start date. ARDMS certification must be maintained throughout employment. RVT - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular required upon start date. CPR Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required upon start date. Associate's Degree. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Hours: 2pm-10:30pm, this role will also participate in back up call and a holiday rotation.
