We are seeking a Lead Fabricator for an established company in the Allendale Township, MI area who will be responsible for overseeing fabrication projects from start to finish while guiding and mentoring a team of fabricators. This role requires hands-on fabrication skills, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with overtime as needed
Job Duties of the Lead Fabricator:
Operate metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, and CNC equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, dust collection piping, and material handling systems.
Inspect product quality and 100% conformation to specifications.
Lead and supervise a team of fabricators and welders in daily operations.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accuracy and quality in all work.
Inspect finished products to verify measurements, tolerances, and compliance.
Train and mentor team members on fabrication techniques, equipment, and safety practices
Skills and Qualifications of the Lead Fabricator:
Must have custom weld fabrication experience with sheet metal and structural welding.
MIG welding various mild steel including 16 gauge, ¼”, 3/8”, ½”.
TIG/Stick welding experience a plus.
Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work specifications.
Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot.
Strong math skills.
Must have own tools and welding equipment.
The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day

VTG is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade wireless networks across K-12 education, public venues, and commercial environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, advanced troubleshooting, and delivering rock-solid Wi-Fi at scale.
You will work closely with project managers, wired network engineers, and field technicians to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable wireless solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless networks (indoor and outdoor)
Perform wireless site surveys (predictive, passive, and active)
Configure and manage wireless controllers and cloud platforms
Troubleshoot complex RF, roaming, authentication, and performance issues
Integrate wireless networks with wired infrastructure, VLANs, and routing
Support authentication platforms (RADIUS, 802.1X, guest access, BYOD)
Participate in pre-sales engineering, solution validation, and documentation
Provide post-deployment support and optimization
Maintain detailed network documentation and as-built diagrams
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of enterprise wireless networking experience
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals (SNR, RSSI, interference, channel planning)
Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi vendors (e.g., Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki)
Solid understanding of:
802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
VLANs, trunking, and PoE
DHCP, DNS, NAT, and routing fundamentals
Experience with WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, and guest access models
Ability to troubleshoot across Layer 1-7
Strong documentation and communication skills
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in K-12 or E-Rate-funded environments
Hands-on experience with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet, Hamina)
