What you will be doing
As a Service & Delivery Technician III, you will be supporting our retail stores & backstage facilities that are in and around Malvern, PA. Our Service & Delivery Technician III technicians repair devices such as Self-Checkout's, counter scales, check stand scales, point-of sale printers, Lexmark printers, iPads, eCommerce picking devices and desktops/laptops. Our Service & Delivery Technician's also assist with deploying new & replacement hardware into the field.
As a Service & Delivery Technician III, you will visit our retail stores and backstage facilities to address any open IT issues that need on-site assistance, as well as support these facilities remotely where possible.
Main responsibilities
Support standard hardware platforms and systems installed throughout Safeway plants, distribution centers, district offices and retail locations.
Repair all approved standard technology hardware, including PC/server hardware, network hardware, multi-function printers, scales, iPads, eCommerce picking devices, self-checkout & point of sale equipment.
Provide network and remote connectivity (hardware/software) support.
Installation of new hardware and software.
Provide customers with IT support; meet goals for service level agreements.
Interface with all Corporate IT groups for on-site support and technology resolutions.
Adhere to repair standards and service levels established.
What we are searching for
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
High school graduate, AA/AS/BA/BS degree preferred or 3+ year's technical/training/hardware certifications preferred.
Information Technology project implementation exposure with 5+ years' technical systems and 2+ years of technical support experience preferred.
2+ years retail business experience preferred.
2+ years' experience with retail store systems, technology systems and hardware preferred.
2+ years' experience with installation and configuration of desktop and peripheral technology preferred.
Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather important information to resolve high pressure issues/situations (for remote locations).
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present technical information and tailor responses for customer understanding.
Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models, Windows, MS Office, and related applications.
iOS and Android knowledge.
Self-checkout experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a strong collaborative partner in a matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality products under minimal supervision.
Understanding of how hardware/software systems inter-relate.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment, some twisting and turning with equipment installs.
Must have a good, safe driving record. Must have a vehicle.
Solid mechanical skills.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, day, evening and overnight in a 24/7 on call support capacity.
Strong sense of urgency, business ethics, dependability and follow through.

Uses Instrument Tracking System in the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical trays and peel-pouched items to maintain inventory levels and accurate documentation.
Accurately labels each item with name and/or expiration date.
Routinely checks for outdates and package integrity of sterilized items; replaces/reports as necessary.
May be responsible for maintaining, assembling and distributing of other durable medical equipment including but not limited to code carts based on campus requirements.

The SterileProcessingTechnician retrieves, decontaminates, cleans, assembles, processes, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical devices, equipment, procedure trays and supplies used in the care of patients.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retrieves, sorts and decontaminates used materials, instruments, medical devices and equipment from the nursing units, Operating Room, Emergency Department, Delivery Rooms, Nurseries, Outpatient Departments, etc., according to established procedures.
Performs quality checks for cleanliness, sharpness and proper functioning of instruments.
Performs high level disinfection (HLD) on items that cannot be sterilized.
Assembles and wraps items in correct type of packaging material in preparation for sterilization.
Sterilizes wrapped and packaged items by steam or ETO.
Prepares case carts for the Operating Room.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Standing for up to 4 hours per day, up to 2 hours at a time. Walking for up to 4 hours per day, up to 2 hours at a time. Sitting for up to 2 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Frequently uses fingers and hands for data entry, assembling instrument trays, picking items for case carts and packaging items. Frequently uses upper extremities to lift up to 50 pounds. Hearing ability sufficient to hear above noise level of operating equipment (sterilizers). Must be able to hear alarms and telephone. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision (must be able to detect defects in instruments, such as nicks, burrs, etc.). Frequently pushing and pulling carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent required. SPD certification is required within 18 months of hire.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
On-the-job training with 8 weeks minimum concentrated orientation period.

You will be providing IT Support to our 50+ Acme stores in and around Glenn Mills and the surrounding area. You would work on deploying equipment and installing new hardware and software. You would also work with our computers, printers, POS Systems, scales, and Network Servers.

JOB SUMMARY
The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $18-22 per hour. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations.
Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on-call basis.
Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
Maintains supply component of patient profiles.
Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home:
a) Physical abuse of any family member
b) Home environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for children
c) Animals in the home that cause unsanitary conditions
May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes. Report malfunctions to supervisor.
Performs other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
At least one year related experience is required.

The purpose of this position is to support the oral surgery team by ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and work areas are properly prepared, sterilized, and maintained to the highest safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining an efficient surgical environment by performing decontamination and sterilizationprocesses, organizing and assembling surgical trays, and upholding OSHA guidelines for personal and workplace safety. The position contributes to exceptional patient care by supporting clinical staff, anticipating surgical needs, and fostering a clean, compliant, and collaborative environment.
Essential Functions
Perform all decontamination, cleaning, inspection, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and safety standards.
Assemble, organize, and prepare surgical trays and materials to ensure timely availability for procedures.
Operate and maintain sterilizers, ultrasonic cleaners, and other reprocessing equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Monitor sterilization cycles, maintain accurate logs, and document all processing activities for compliance and traceability.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment that meets OSHA, infection control, and practice standards.
Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and adhere to strict safety procedures to minimize risk of contamination or exposure.
Inspect instruments for proper function and report damage, missing, or unsafe equipment to appropriate personnel.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of surgical rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are prepared and readily available.
Support the surgical and clinical team during procedures as needed within the scope of the role.
Communicate clearly with clinical staff to ensure accurate instrument flow and anticipate surgical needs.
Maintain inventory of instruments, supplies, and sterilization materials; notify leadership when stock is low or replacement is needed.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of sterilization practices, equipment uses, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency, required.
Experience:
Previous experience in a dental, oral surgery, medical, or sterileprocessing environment preferred
Experience with sterilizationprocesses, including cleaning, decontamination, packaging, and autoclave operation, strongly preferred.
Familiarity with OSHA, infection control, and universal precaution protocols in a clinical setting.
Experience working with surgical instruments, including identification, inspection, and proper assembly of instrument trays.
Hands-on experience using sterilization and cleaning equipment, such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and steam sterilizers.
Experience working in a fast-paced clinical or surgical environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Customer service or patient-facing experience in a healthcare setting is helpful but not required.
