Dentist:
The Dentist examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, treats diseases of nerve, pulp and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth, fits dental appliances and provides appropriate preventive services to dental patients. This position is located within our Pediatric Clinic in Greeley, Colorado.
***$15,000.00 Sign-On Bonus Available***

Position Summary:
With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, The Dentist will:
Examine teeth, gums and related tissues using dental instruments, x-rays, or other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments.
Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures.
Develop medical treatment plans for patient's teeth and mouth tissue.
Prescribe medications for antibiotics and other medications.
Design, make or fit prosthodontic appliances, such as space maintainers, bridges, or dentures, or write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for denturists or dental technicians.
Advise or instruct patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, or oral health care services.
Document all medications, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations.
Treat dental problems or diseases.
Analyze or evaluate dental needs to determine changes or trends in patterns of dental disease.
Apply fluoride or sealants to teeth.
Eliminate irritating margins of fillings and correct occlusions.
Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Plan, organize, or maintain dental health programs.
Bleach, clean, or polish teeth to restore natural color.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from an Accredited Dental School with Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S), Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D).
License to practice dentistry, CPR Certification
Minimum 5 years clinical experience at a dental practice or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred

Instructors must be able to scaffold and differentiate for a wide variety of adult learners and adjust to the needs of each unique class. Twenty-first century learning is brought to students using technology in the classroom whether online or in person. This position consists of around 7 hours per week during teaching term and is dependent upon class schedule . WIC Manager:
The WIC Manager is responsible for supervising WIC clinics, and direct reports as assigned by the WIC Director. The position is also responsible providing staff training, coaching and education to meet performance standards and overseeing WIC program goals as assigned.

Authorizes the use of non-contract brand formula, exempt infant formulas, WIC-eligible medical foods, and individual needs for tailoring of WIC food packages.
Provides appropriate documentation in participant charts including participant concerns, nutrition assessment, materials provided, nutrition education, referrals progress toward attaining new behavior change and follow-up plans.
Assists and supports team to meet participant needs and coordinate participant flow within the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health and/or Nursing.
Credentialed Registered Dietitian, R.D., Registered Nurse.
1-2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Non-Certified Medical Coding Specialist is responsible for correctly coding healthcare claims to obtain reimbursement from insurance companies and government health care programs, such as Medicare.
Position Summary:
With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, The Non-Certified Medical Coding Specialist will:
Analyzes patient charts carefully to know the diagnosis and represent every item with specific codes.
Assigns codes for diagnosis, treatments, and procedures according to the appropriate classification system.
Reviews claims data to ensure assigned codes meet required legal and insurance rules and that required authorizations are in place prior to submission.
Evaluates and re-files appeals for patient claims that were denied.
Ensures correct patient allocation is set.
Voids any duplicate charges or charges entered in error.
Identifies and reports error patterns.
Notifies coding supervisors of missing orders or needed documentation clarification.
Ensures timely and efficient billing of all electronic claims' submission.
Accurately enters payment and adjustments in the A/R system.
Collects health information as documented by medical providers and codes them appropriately.
Consults medical providers for further clarification and understanding of items on patient charts to avoid any misinterpretations.
Provides accurate account information to patients about their A/R accounts and makes any necessary corrections.
Complies with HIPAA, federal regulations, and Sunrise Community Health policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or certificate in Medical Coding preferred; Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential is a plus.
Coding certification through AHIMA or AAPC and/or a minimum of two years of medical coding experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Patient Specialist

Clinic Support/Medical Assistant-Float:
The Clinic Support/ Medical Assistant-Float performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of medical providers. Clean and sterilize instruments and packs, dispose of contaminated supplies.

Pre-Visit Team Based Planning - Review daily schedule and chart by care team, ensure documented instructions are written on the schedule, typed into the EHR appointment note, or in the EHR as a flag or clinical list update.
Ensure patient visit is more efficient by identifying: 1. Records from transitions of care are available during the patient visit. 2. Results from labs or diagnostic are in the EHR. 3. Labs or other services that are not specified in the standing orders protocols.
Participate in collaborative measures. Follow and initiate policy for standing orders. Schedule appointments and enter appointment date and time into computer.

Requirements:
It is a Sunrise requirement for Medical Assistants to be certified. If an onboarding staff member is not certified or licensed but has completed a medical assistant training program and / or has completed the hours of experience needed, the staff member will be required to obtain certification with such deadlines as follow:
Medical Assistant certification exam to be taken no later than 6 months of hire date. Sunrise will cover the first certification exam expense.
If unsuccessful, second exam to be taken 30 days after first exam, testing expense will be covered by staff member.
If unsuccessful, third exam to be taken 30 days after second exam, testing expense will be covered by staff member.
If unsuccessful after the third attempt, staff will no longer be eligible to perform Medical Assistant duties. The staff member will be given the option, if available, to apply for a different position within the Sunrise Organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Certified Nurses Aid, QMAP or EMT Certification or have a MA Diploma and/or MA experience preferred.
Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., CMA, RMA, or other nationally recognized certifications) preferred.

Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician Exam:
It is required that the exam be taken after completing 500 hours of Pharmacy Technician experience and ideally three to six months before the expiration of the 18-month provisional license. The exam must be taken no later than 18 months from the date of hire. Sunrise will cover the cost of the first exam attempt.
Subsequent Exam Attempts:
If the first attempt is unsuccessful, the second and third attempts may be taken at the staff member's own expense.
If needed, a fourth attempt may be taken no sooner than six months after the third attempt, and this expense will also be the responsibility of the staff member.
Failure to Pass by Provisional Expiration:
If the staff member does not successfully pass the exam before the 18-month provisional license expires, they will no longer be eligible to perform Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician duties.
At that time, the staff member may submit an application for any open positions at Sunrise and will be considered in the same manner as all other qualified candidates.

* Participate in collaborative measures. Follow and initiate policy for standing orders. Schedule appointments and enter appointment date and time into computer.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
It is a Sunrise requirement for Medical Assistants to be certified. If an onboarding staff member is not certified or licensed but has completed a medical assistant training program and / or has completed the hours of experience needed, the staff member will be required to obtain certification with such deadlines as follow:
* Medical Assistant certification exam to be taken no later than 6 months of hire date. Sunrise will cover the first certification exam expense.
* If unsuccessful, second exam to be taken 30 days after first exam, testing expense will be covered by staff member.
* If unsuccessful, third exam to be taken 30 days after second exam, testing expense will be covered by staff member.
* If unsuccessful after the third attempt, staff will no longer be eligible to perform Medical Assistant duties. The staff member will be given the option, if available, to apply for a different position within the Sunrise Organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
* Certified Nurses Aid, QMAP or EMT Certification or have a MA Diploma and/or MA experience preferred.

Follow clinic protocol with reviewing patient's medical history at every appointment and records changes.
Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
Follow clinic radiographic protocol and produces diagnostic radiographs.
