    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour Day Shift; on call requirement * Under the direction of the Nursing Director, the Surgical Tech First Assist (STFA) works in collaboration with the surgeon and health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes. * Intraoperatively, the STFA practices at the direction of the surgeon. * The tech shall assist the surgeon during surgical procedures in a manner as to make the procedure safe, effective, and smooth flowing while adhering to strict aseptic technique. * The tech shall be responsible for the peri-operative care of the surgical patient by proficiently planning, implementing, and evaluating the preparation of the surgical cases.
