The ABE/HiSET Instructor is responsible for instructing and tutoring students who are preparing for their HiSET exams. Students are teens and/or adults with limited educational backgrounds and often negative educational experiences. Instructors need to be sensitive to a variety of learning barriers, and able to assist students in obtaining the tools needed to address their individual barriers. Instructional focus is on Math, Reading, Language, Social Studies, Science and Employability. Must be able to assist students with a variety of online testing and instructional curriculum. Responsible for administrative duties associated with record keeping as is required for effective student learning management and continued grant funding.
