Work special events Work in an environment where noise levels are usually moderate to high and be in the water for the duration of the shift. The Water Safety Instructor at The Roth Family JCC of Greater Orlando, a part of Shalom Orlando, conducts private swim lessons for students ranging from infants through adults according to American Red Cross standards. During summer camp season, responsibilities include leading camp group swim instruction. WSIs create a supportive learning environment that addresses both the swimming skills and social-emotional needs of students, particularly when working with children.
