Job Description:
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of information Technology (IT) systems.
Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 and Tier 3(Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Configures and manages UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
The Level 2 Systems Administrator shall possess the following capabilities:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

Implement IAVA security patches and insure patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage UNIX, Linux and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Communicate and coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) regarding system changes as part of the Change and Configuration Management Process
Support the ISO by completing required milestones of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)as directed and coordinate completion status with the ISSO to reflect status within the Source System of Record for Security Authorizations
Ensure IT Assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy.
Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Applies knowledge and understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling).

The IT Field Technician plays a critical role in supporting Labcorp clients' technical needs across the West Division. Key Duties & Responsibilities

ATSS personnel install, evaluate, maintain, modify and certify facilities, services and equipment that support the National Airspace System (NAS).
Serves as an ATSS with the Technical Support Operations Group. Performs a variety of functions directly related to the operation of the NAS. Responsibilities include integration, restoration, testing and evaluation of new advanced services or service components, hardware/software systems and processes. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to protect the integrity of all components and systems to provide NAS service delivery.
Has broad automated systems and networking responsibilities and is recognized as a principal technical specialist on legacy and newly developed systems within a large facility or multiple facilities over a large geographical area.
Performs work of broad scope and complexity with a high degree of independence. Provides the highest organizational level of technical support associated with analyzing, designing, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.
As a principal specialist/expert for major projects and/or program areas resolves unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggesting solutions. Plans, coordinates, and performs work with a high degree of independence, keeping the supervisor advised of only the most critical issues.
Can be called upon to assist with repair and/or restore service or systems, providing guidance on the availability of back-up systems, recommending reconfiguration to minimize service interruptions to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the NAS.
Carries out work in accordance with overall plans and objectives of the organization, resolving problems as they arise and making adjustments as necessary to handle unanticipated situations and organizational needs.
This work includes responsibility for evaluating diagnostic data from multiple systems that are integrated to support a network of services or service products. Evaluation of this data is used for correcting deficiencies on Contractor Acceptance Inspection/Joint Acceptance Inspection, and timely resolution of equipment, systems or services with the NAS.
Collaborates with system users, planners, engineers, and contractor personnel for the acceptance of new or modified systems and provide assistance for resolving problems with the installation or improvements.
Develops recommendations for enhancing efficiency of systems by modification and application of existing or emerging technology.
Monitors other employees time as a project or team leader. Identifies requirements (staffing funds, materials, and equipment) to accomplish projects and tracks the use of project resources. Provides training, mentoring, guidance and advice to FAA employees, contractors and other organizations as needed. Supervisor rarely reviews completed work.
Integrates Operational Risk Management (ORM) into all planned activities ensuring that all customers and users of services are included and involved in implementation and planning.
Utilizes appropriate Personal Safety Training and supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when engaged in restoration and maintenance activities. Ensures all involved parties utilize PPE for the task appropriately.
Contacts are both internal and external. Represents the organization as the primary technical point of contact on projects, programs, and other work activities to coordinate and implement plans or to obtain information and resolve problems. Meets and consults with representatives of external organizations such as DoD, airport management, contractors, utility companies and foreign governments to resolve problems of mutual concern and to elicit cooperation and action favorable to FAA needs.

As a Lead Network Administrator within the Volcano Science Center, you will serve as the principal contact for information technology systems within the assigned portfolios/major systems. This position performs a variety of the most difficult integration and complex configuration duties requiring the application of expert knowledge including establishing new approaches and methods to assess systems operations, analyzing emerging requirements, assessing the feasibility of new systems, and identifying the causes of complex operational problems.

POSITION SUMMARY
Blood Bank of Alaska (BBA) is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Systems and Software Specialist at our main campus in Anchorage, AK. For this full-time position, you will be a key member of the Quality Assurance team, providing the blood bank with essential support for quality processes and assessments. The Quality Systems and Software Specialist at the Blood Bank of Alaska (BBA) is responsible for promoting regulatory compliance, managing the occurrence program, and administering the Blood Establishment Computer System (BECS) and other software. Facilitate changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This may include writing and updating policies,
processes, and procedures.
Manage record retention process and record storage areas.
Administrate BBAs Blood Establishment Computer System (BECS) and other applicable software programs.
Provide customer service to BBAs software users.
Manage and perform software configuration changes, upgrades, and validations where applicable.
