Under general supervision of the Senior Systems Analyst, the Applications Administrator will act as the primary system administrator for assigned applications as well as the escalation point for more in-depth and complex issues.
Essential Duties:
· Serves as Administrator of assigned applications by maintaining the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
· Evaluates, tests, and applies updates and patches to assigned applications on a scheduled basis.
· Troubleshoots, resolves, and documents issues and changes related to assigned applications.
· Communicates effectively with all stakeholders and users to address application issues, upgrades, and changes.
· Researches, proposes, and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability, features, and performance of the assigned applications.
· Learns new applications, technologies, and processes as they relate to the customer needs.
· Becomes knowledgeable of the capabilities of major applications, having a clear understanding of their capabilities and how they interact to identify additional integration opportunities.
· Collaborates with users to identify needs and gather requirements for reporting, enhancements, changes, etc. as they pertain to assigned applications.
· Provides consistent and reliable support to the users through training and documentation for optimal use of the application.

Education
Required: Associates in a computer science or related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required: One (1) year of work experience as an Applications Administrator, Business Analyst, Programmer, System Administrator, Database Administrator, or related field.

Serves as a resource to the respective Quality Improvement programs in the various Health Care Units in the assigned Region.
Participates in training appropriate Bureau of Prisons staff in the theory and practices of Quality Improvement.
Responsible for coordinating the overall Health Care Risk Management activities across the Region.
Responsible for providing expert advice to the Regional Health Services Administrator and coordinating with the Chief, Office of Quality Management in formulating relevant management control systems to be used by the affected institutions.
Assists each institution in developing local quality improvement programs, consistent with national policy and priorities.
Assists the institutions in conducting Mortality Reviews for all deaths which occur within the Region.
Responsible for maintaining a credentialing and privileging tracking system for use by the Region and the Health Services Division, especially the Medical Director.

* Two years of related experience in video teleconferencing systems.
A well-qualified candidate would also possess one or more of the following:
* Experience in AV system design, higher education, or medical facility AV support.
* Experience with video and audio conferencing, project management, CODECs, Cisco TMS, AV camera operation and deployment.
* Site survey design, experience with CAT5/6 cabling terminations.
* Knowledge of AV deployment design, room design, AV configuration tools, Crestron, Biamp, AMX, Vaddio products.
* Ability to add documents to share points.
* Ability to setup zoom meetings and share content.
* Ability to manage vendors and projects.
* Audio Visual (AV) test procedures for conferencing, camera, and audio testing.
* Ability to access back-office management products.

Preferred Skills & Experience

As a Video Network Specialist II, you'll be behind the scenes, ensuring classrooms teleconferencing systems are running smoothly for our faculty. You'll also oversee the training and mentoring of our student technicians, empowering them to provide tier I AV technical support.
