The ideal candidate will have experience as a Windows Desktop Administrator, hands-on clean-room or laboratory benchtop experience, and familiarity working in a GxP, GMP, or GLP environment. Technical screening needed prior to submission (14-questions via Zoom/Teams).
Responsibilities:
Work with scientific staff and IS colleagues to resolve request tickets for issues and requests regarding laboratory computers including software upgrades, Windows OS upgrades, general troubleshooting of system issues and benchtop automation support
Develop and maintain tools and automation scripts for the OBS team (Batch Script, VBS, PowerShell)
Support corporate deployments of anti-virus, software patches to benchtop computers
Physically inventory benchtop computers and reconcile with asset inventory system
Partners with outside vendors to troubleshoot problems, find long-term solutions, and monitor progress to meet user needs
Work with scientists and other IS colleagues to translate computing needs into sustainable, standardized solutions
Work on assigned software/hardware lifecycle projects
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and database teams to ensure lab systems and instrument data flows comply with corporate security, networking, and GxP requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree & 2 years of experience of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT Help Desk experience OR Associate degree & 6 years of experience of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT Help Desk experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong customer focus with ability to work closely with customers to manage the resolution of IS tickets in line with customer expectations

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Build, Maintain, and Support local Nutanix Infrastructure including File Server Migrations.
Office infrastructure management and setup - laptops, server-side software patching, computer refreshes, procurement, and deployment of OS updates.
Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
