ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files. Prepare account reconciliations for month end close. Assist with month end close process including bank reconciliations. Assist with annual audit and tax requests. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. Acts as primary point of contact for regional operations as assigned including the Regional Vice-President Assist Director of Accounting as needed. Perform other analyses and duties as assigned. Skilled in identifying and resolving problems. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to use good reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, co-workers and the public. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to Pivot tables, Index Match, Vlookup, and managing large data sets Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Products.
