Duties & Responsibilities
Direct Instruction & Academic Support
Provide individualized and small-group tutoring sessions in literacy and math for K-5 students, and subject-specific support for grades 6-12.
Identify student academic needs and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
· Implement evidence-based instructional strategies, social-emotional learning (SEL) integration, and culturally responsive practices.
· Track student attendance, progress, and engagement with accuracy and confidentiality.
· Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator, Youth Development Specialists, and families to support student growth.
· Support enrichment and standards-aligned practice activities for students not receiving direct tutoring.
Requirements
Education & Experience
· Current 11th-12th with a 3.5+ GPA, or enrolled college student.
