Job Description:
We are looking for a Platform Lead to own and evolve the technology ecosystem that powers our enterprise compliance and data privacy operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical owner of our self-hosted OneTrust instance and several adjacent compliance technologies. You will partner with multiple business groups-including Compliance, Customer Communications, and Data Privacy Governance (DPG)-to ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and continually improving.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable driving platform strategy, managing feature roadmaps, and diving into system architecture, integrations, and configuration details.
Daily Tasks Performed:
• Own the OneTrust Platform
• Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of our self-hosted OneTrust environment.
• Support three business functions:
• Compliance: UCPM for known customer profile management, DNSS receipts, and CMP for cookie configuration.
• Communications/Email Marketing: UCPM for CAN-SPAM compliance and consent management.

VETERAN'S CREDIT
If you are a veteran, you may be eligible for veteran's credit, which is an additional 10% of the total points added to a passing score. ELIGIBILITY AND VACANCY INFORMATION
The names of candidates receiving a passing grade in the examination will be placed on the eligible register in the order of their score group for a period of six (6) months from the date of promulgation. Applications will be processed on an as-received basis and promulgated to the eligible register accordingly.
NO PERSON MAY COMPETE IN THIS EXAMINATION MORE THAN ONCE EVERY SIX (6) MONTHS.
The list of successful applicants created from this exam will be used to fill vacancies within the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Technology & Support Division, Communications and Fleet Management Bureau.

Job Description
The Fiber Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables in underground and aerial applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fusion splices SM ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables, to initiate or terminate various types of fiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC).
Installs and tests pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable.
Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues.
Reviews, interprets, and works with various maps, drawings, blueprints and testing documents.
Performs daily testing and maintenance of splicing and testing equipment.
Performs optical continuity and conformance testing.
Makes splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in underground, aerial and building work locations.
Adheres to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles.
All other duties as required.
Qualifications
1-3 Years Experience with installation and testing of fiber optic cables.
Working knowledge of using various fusion splicing and optical testing equipment including, Alcoa Fujikura, GN Net Test, EXFO, Fitel, Sumitomo, and Viavi.
Working knowledge of GS150 and GS350 Fiber Jetters.
Ability to climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, poles, lift trucks, etc.).
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Safety-conscious.
Flexible schedule, with hours of day and days of week.
