Installs and tests pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable. Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues. Reviews, interprets, and works with various maps, drawings, blueprints and testing documents. Performs daily testing and maintenance of splicing and testing equipment. Performs optical continuity and conformance testing. Makes splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in underground, aerial and building work locations. Adheres to company policies, regulations, procedures, and principles. All other duties as required. Qualifications 1-3 Years Experience with installation and testing of fiber optic cables. Working knowledge of using various fusion splicing and optical testing equipment including, Alcoa Fujikura, GN Net Test, EXFO, Fitel, Sumitomo, and Viavi. Working knowledge of GS150 and GS350 Fiber Jetters. Ability to climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, poles, lift trucks, etc.). Ability to work in confined spaces. Safety-conscious. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage sewage systems. WHAT SETS L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU: Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial and residential buildings. Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps. Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains. Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings. Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Training pay will start at $20/HR.
