JOB SUMMARY:

DUTIES:
Assists with admission/intake procedures on new residents including all paperwork, room assignments, and initial orientation.
Conducts property searches of residents as required by program standards.
Performs urine drug screen testing of residents as required.
Provides transportation services including resident transportation, donation pick-ups, agency errands, etc.
Attends in-service training and educational workshops.
Attends all required staff meetings.
Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and various recovery resources in the community such as AA, Smart Recovery/ other resources in the community.
Develop and maintain individualized records of resident progress and participation in treatment including admission and discharge, individual, group, family, vocational (both individual and group) literacy training and other occasions as appropriate.
Ability to write clear (and concise) statements, summarizing resident's feelings, expressions, resistance and response to their treatment plan; goals and objectives.
Ability to confront behavioral changes, identifies a crisis, and recognize when additional assistance is necessary.
Ability to recognize personal recovery issues that have an impact on job performance and interactions with residents.
Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and resident confidentiality.
Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of residents and staff.

The Home Health Physical Therapist provides skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes on an intermittent visit basis. Attend all training and staff meetings
Adhere to all VIE HEALING protocols for grooming standards, room set up, employee requirements for breaks/clocking in and out, etc. as well as specifics to execution of treatments.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with management and front-of-house staff to ensure daily client flow and operational standards are upheld
Practice timelines with clients and staff. Always arrive at least 15min prior to the first client.
Desire to expand your practice and learn.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and/or Doctorate of Chiropractic
Preferred knowledge of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Project Heal is CHLA's trauma psychology program, working with children and families who have been referred for mental health services as a result of exposure to traumatic events. These events can include medical trauma, child abuse, exposure to family or community violence, or immigration trauma. The Psychotherapist II provides psychotherapeutic services for a caseload of patients with acutely complex needs. Responsible for assessment, treatment planning and provision of psychotherapeutic services to a defined caseload of patients and may also support the facilitation of groups. Employs evidence-based psychological treatment interventions and provides case management services as needed. Services are primarily clinic-based, but some field work is expected, depending on the needs of the program or individual clients. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Minimum 2+ years clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or their families/caregivers. Training and experience in treating youth and families who have experienced traumatic events. Training in trauma informed evidence-based practices (TF-CBT) highly preferred. Art / Music / Movement therapy background preferred. Experience leading group therapy with parents and children. Experience working with youth in foster care and training and experience conducting intake assessments and evaluation of youth with trauma exposure. Bilingual or bicultural staff are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience working in health care settings and with children, adolescents, and families preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance required for positions requiring field-based services.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology with previous experience in a child, adolescent, or family mental health setting. BLS from the American Heart Association certification required. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Prefer Bilingual (Russian/ Armenian/ Farsi / Spanish) highly desirable.
