JOB SUMMARY
The Activities Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive activities program that enhances the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents. This leadership position ensures that activities align with residents' individual preferences, abilities, and care plans while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, including F680 requirements. The Activities Program Coordinator provides department oversight, supervises activity staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and fosters a vibrant, engaging community for residents. The Activities Program Coordinator integrates the organization's mission, vision, and values into daily operations and strategic planning.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Directs the planning, organization, and execution of a dynamic activities program that meets the psychosocial needs of all residents.
Develops and oversees a monthly calendar of activities that includes physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social opportunities.
Conducts or delegates assessments to determine resident interests and creates individualized activity plans.
Monitors resident participation, evaluates engagement levels, and adjust programs accordingly.
Leads the interdisciplinary team (IDT) in planning and executing large-scale facility events.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure a high-quality, person-centered activity program.
Supervises, trans, and evaluates activity staff and volunteers, fostering professional growth and development.
Maintains or delegates accurate documentation of activity participation in resident medical records.
Conducts monthly audits of one-on-one and group activity engagement to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
Completes MDS assessments and contributes to care plan development for all residents.
Ensures activities are accessible and inclusive for residents with varying levels of cognitive and physical ability.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners to enhance program offerings.
Coordinates outings and special events that promote resident enrichment and community involvement.
Provides leadership in budget planning, resource management, and department operations.
Upholds resident rights and promotes a culture of dignity, choice, and engagement.
Serves as a liaison between the activities department and administration to align goals with organizational priorities.
Complies with corporate compliance program, facility policies, and healthcare regulations.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High school diploma or GED required; completion of a state-approved training program within two years of hire.
Certification
Must meet one of the following per F680:
Eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional by a recognized accrediting body on or after October 1, 1990.
At least two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, with one year in a full-time therapeutic activities program.
A qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant
Completion of a state-approved training course for activity professionals.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates.
You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
Physical Effort: Heavy physical effort is used by the operator in constantly reaching, bending, turning, and moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to handle controls to operate the equipment and attachments. Frequent adjustments to the equipment is required under the more adverse operating conditions on the rough terrain. Considerable strain is caused by the constant vibration of the equipment and the jerking and jolting from operating on rough surfaces. During fire suppression assignments, the operator is exposed to smoky conditions, fire burns, and other similar conditions.
As a line firefighter this position is subject to the Bureau's step test and arduous physical requirements for firefighters.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in all types of weather, often in an open driver's seat on hills, slopes, grades, rolling surfaces, and forests. The operator is exposed to continuously to injury due to the possibility of the equipment overturning or to the possibility of being overrun by the wildfire. The operator is subject to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, and fumes from the motor and exhaust and to smoke from wildfires.

This leadership role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards in diagnostic imaging, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
The Manager of Imaging services will manage all imaging personnel, oversee workflow efficiency, maintain quality assurance standards, build employee schedules, provide backup to absent employees, perform imaging services as needed, and support the integration of new technologies and best practices. This individual will participate in OrthoNOW rotations as a radiologic technologist. This individual reports directly to the Practice Director of McGinley Medical, PC.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and leadership for all imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-Ray).
Supervise and support technologists at both Casper and Gillette locations, including periodic on-site visits to Gillette Wyoming.
Develop and maintain efficient staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
Perform imaging related studies within your appropriate licensure.
Act as a backup to absent employees or when the imaging center is back logged as needed to ensure timely patient appointments.
Assist with patient scheduling and registration as needed if imaging staff is unable.
Help with conducting annual staff performance evaluations and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
Oversee employee onboarding, continuing education, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
Monitor imaging quality assurance programs and coordinate corrective action when performance falls below expected standards.
Collaborate with referring physicians and providers to maintain high levels of service quality and patient satisfaction.
Manage imaging equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate vendor service as needed.
Participate in budget development and monitor operational expenses for cost efficiency.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, administration, and support services.
Work with third party vendors including human resources.
Promote a positive work culture that emphasizes communication, teamwork, and professional accountability. Be a role model for this behavior.
Qualifications
Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a multi-modality Radiologic Technologist, with demonstrated expertise.
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive management or supervisory experience in a radiology or imaging department.
Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist License (ARRT or equivalent) and licensing in at least one other Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Modality.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary imaging team.
Strong organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration and follow-through.
Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and related imaging software systems.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic quality.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Gillette, WY, to oversee imaging operations at that location.
Working Conditions
Full-time, salaried position based in Casper, WY.
Routine travel (approx. 10-20%) required to the Gillette facility-anticipate at minimum 4-6 days per month. Additional days will be needed during the set-up of the Gillette practice and when new employee on-boarding. Overnight stays and expenses will be covered by Company.
Participate in OrthoNOW coverage in a rotation-anticipate approximately one Saturday every 5-7 weeks and occasional 5-7PM shift. Subject to change.
Position may involve limited on-call responsibilities to support critical operations or equipment issues. This can include but is not limited to meeting repair technicians, covering unscheduled employee absences and having flexible hours to meet clinical needs.
Participate in management team including but not limited to management meetings, strategic planning and human resources needs.
Ability to stand or move for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

The South Zone of the Shoshone National Forest is seeking one individual placement for a 16-week summer position as a Wilderness Ranger to work in the extraordinary Washakie, Fitzpatrick, and Popo Agie Wilderness areas of Wyoming. The Wilderness Ranger selected placement will assist the Shoshone National Forest in accomplishing an array of wilderness ranger objectives, including conducting valuable conservation work in wilderness campsite inventory, monitoring, cleanup, and naturalization; visitor use and encounters monitoring; public education; outfitter and guide inspections; and trail logout. Wilderness Ranger work is accomplished during multiple 8-day self-supported (backpack) wilderness hitches with one to a few other people.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
WILDERNESS RANGER DUTIES INCLUDE:
Campsite inventory, condition monitoring, and data collection on the Survey123 field program
Campsite cleanup, naturalization, revegetation, and restoration
Carrying out trash from wilderness
Visitor use/encounters monitoring and data collection using the Survey123 field program
Professionally conducting visitor contacts, checking for compliance, and providing information/education on Forest regulations
Assist in conducting Outfitter/Guide inspections
Wilderness sign and trailhead kiosk maintenance
Trail logout and minor trail maintenance.
Marginal Duties
May assist with Special Uses front-country Lands inspections, warehouse organization, and equipment/vehicle maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 or older by position start date; Must have ability to legally work in the US
Ability to pass SCA background check
Full engagement in all work projects
Physical fitness is required for hiking on- and off-trail over rough (rocky, snowy, steep) mountainous terrain at high elevations (commonly 9,000-12,000 ft.) in various adverse weather conditions
Ability to hike ~10 miles a day, and sometimes up to 20 miles in a day, carrying 50+ lbs. while also conducting work duties along the route
Previous hiking, backpacking, and wilderness camping experience is necessary
Ability to work and live in the backcountry for up to 8 days at a time
Professionalism when contacting visitors, including in high-use areas
Willingness to accept and manage risks associated with extreme weather events, stream crossings, driving mountainous roads, wildlife, exposure to biting/stinging insects, wildfire smoke, and other conditions
Willingness to work and live in grizzly bear habitat
Due to the remote, isolated location of Dubois, WY, it is important that the selected placement provides their own mode of transportation.
This SCA Position is authorized under the Public Land Corps Authority. All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans age 35 or younger. Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Hours served can be applied toward the Public Land Corps (PLC) hiring authority.

Extensive wilderness backpacking experience
Previous experience backpacking, camping, or working in grizzly bear habitat

Co-ed bunkhouse-style housing will be provided in the small community of Dubois, Wyoming. This Forest Service bunkhouse has 5 double-occupancy bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms plus a shared laundry room, living room, and double kitchen. Occupants of the bunkhouse may include seasonal FS employees from various programs, and/or other individual placements. The bunkhouse was built on the east side of Dubois in the early 2000's on the Forest Service Work Center compound next door to two Forest Service warehouses, and a horse corral.
