In 2019, Ticketmaster launched SafeTix, an enhancement to Presence, which adds Anti-Counterfeiting Features to Tickets and Provides Event Owners Greater Visibility Into Event Attendees Ticketmaster has acquired several businesses throughout its history, including Ticketron, a digital ticket agency; TicketWeb Inc, an online ticket vendor for clubs and venues; Front Gate Tickets, a music festival ticketing technology; Strobe Labs, a music marketing platform; TicketHour, a sports ticketing operator; Universe, a DIY ticketing platform; and UPGRADED, a blockchain technology company. It also invested in Blink Identity, a facial recognition company.
