The successful candidate will have experience in line construction (fiber or electric) as well as working with underground contractors. Civil engineering experience and dry utility construction experience preferred. The qualified candidate must be able to perform all aspects of dry utility plan preparation and permit procurement. The qualified candidate must be able to successfully manage all aspects of dry utility plan preparation and permit procurement. This would include preparation of specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, cost estimates, and budgets associated with the planning, design, permitting, and construction of dry utility systems (power, gas, telecommunications) primarily within Central Virginia.
