ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Clean patient/resident rooms daily and/or at check-out/discharge, using various cleaning chemicals and disinfectants as required. * Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day. * Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate. * Wash and make bed with clean linen. * Collect soiled linen. * Wash walls. * Clean all restrooms, sink areas and fixtures. * Vacuum carpets. * Extract carpets as needed. * Dust and/or mop floors. * Collect trash and clean trash containers. * Perform high dusting. * Maintain daily report of rooms cleaned and submit to department supervisor. * Clean and re-stock housekeeping cart for next day use. * Stock supplies in utility closets. * Maintain/clean all housekeeping equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order. * Other job related duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses No professional license required. Certifications No professional certification required. Experience 1-2 years related experience preferred. WAGE RANGE: This position starts at $16.60 and goes up based on experience.
