Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities
Check and communicate oil level to teammates
Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
Complete vehicle inspection
Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first.
Service Technician Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
Previous experience at an automotive dealership
Strong understanding of the service drive
Years of experience vary per position
High school diploma or equivalent
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
Communicate with the Shop Manager to provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship or 2 years of proven experience as an auto mechanic.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift).
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
High school diploma is preferred; valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a plus.
Familiar with tire change-out, rotation, and rebalance.
Familiar with alignments, brakes, diagnostics, and diesel engines.
Know how to operate fluid exchange equipment for servicing transmissions, coolant systems, brake systems, other specialized equipment, and hand tools.
Must have and bring personal mechanic tools for the job.
Responsible for keeping a clean and organized work area.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, team player, and work well with others.
Must be able to lift & move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, & bend at the knees & waist.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician:
Must have at least 1 years of automotive technician experience
Hold a valid driver's license
