About this Role
This job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card.
Brink Constructors, Inc.
Work will consist of:
Repairing, Maintaining and Servicing all equipment. (i.e., Bucket trucks, Line truck (Diggers), Cranes, Wire Pulling equipment, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Tracked Equipment, Trailers, Pick-up trucks, etc.)
Work with hazardous tools, i.e., Welders , Torches, Grinders.
Work around moving equipment and in constricted spaces.
Possessing and supplying own mechanic hand tools. ( diagnostic scanners company supplied along with some specialty tools )
Electronically filling out workorders, ordering parts, keeping time and completing daily reports
Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly role with required overtime. The pay range is $28 - $42 per hour - Based on skill and experience level, with opportunity to grow.
Location: This position will work from our Rapid City, SD location.
What You'll Do
Work with supervision and support from Shop Foreman, perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance and services on all company and rental equipment. Diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs. Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times. Demonstrating safe work habits, proper care for tools and equipment, while following all safety and PPE protocols is required.

Valid, Active CDL A - Preferred
All of these skills can be trained or taught for the right candidate, more experience preferred

About the Job:
The Maintenance Lube Technician is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.
Responsibilities:
Job Duties (Not Limited to):
Perform daily lubrication tasks on all mobile mining equipment in pit operations. Operates and inspects machines and equipment to diagnose/trouble shoot defects
Perform regularly scheduled PM services and have knowledge of any and all current lubes being used
Maintain service equipment such as service truck, fuel pumps, lube systems and other equipment needed to perform required duties
Assist in keeping an accurate and up-to-date record of any PM services performed
Dismantle and reassemble equipment as necessary
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges
Assist in the replacement of defective engines and subassemblies
Tests overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency
Assist workers in assembly and disassembly of equipment
Assist in the ordering of parts

Good to Know Before You Start!

You will need to always be alert and aware of your surroundings. We emphasize safety first!
You must be able to physically maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position our technicians safely under our customers' cars.
You must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities that involve holding, grasping, pulling and turning.
While we will work to ensure the comfort of our work spaces, you will occasionally work in hot/cold weather conditions because of our open bay concept (weather permitting).
