Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:
+ $19.60 - $23.89 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
+ Starting pay $19.60 with progression to $23.89 over 5 years.

Responsibilities
+ Answers customer calls and inputs all customer trip requests using a computerized scheduling system.
+ Provides accurate responses to callers' questions about schedules, trips and other questions using information made available to the agent
+ Accurately schedules trips through specialized software, in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provisions and company requirements; determine if trip is to be scheduled by pick up time or by arrival/appointment time; inform customers accordingly
+ Provides transit information to passengers; providing friendly, professional customer service interaction; answers calls from clients and schedule services
+ Monitor call wait time, and number of calls in queue; efficiently address customers' needs so other customers can be helped
+ Enters new customer information or changes into the system.
+ Follows rules and regulations of the Company; follows instructions of management and supervisors
+ Adheres to all regulations related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Qualifications
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required
Experience:
+ One to two years of dispatch and/or customer service experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge Required:
+ Ability to organize logical and efficient schedules and routes and adapt to changes
+ Ability to read, comprehend and understand a map
+ Ability to read, understand, and interpret transit system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routes
+ Ability to assist handicapped passengers when needed
+ Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs

Key Responsibilities:

Must possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair methods and practices, strong knowledge of diesel, CNG and electric vehicle systems, and proficiency with maintenance management software.
The qualified candidate will have operational and working knowledge of compressed natural gas fueling systems and demonstrated experience through training and work experience maintenance of major components and vehicle systems (e.g., transmissions, HVAC systems, air systems,11 compressed natural gas (CNG) engines, gasoline engines, CNG fuel tank inspection procedures, and maintenance of electric transit coaches, etc.).
The Maintenance Manager shall have experience in supervising the work of other maintenance personnel, ranging from mechanics, parts clerks, fueler/washers, etc..
Previous passenger transportation in the current project or a similar environment preferred. Must be able to manage and interface with the client.

The ideal candidate would have experience in scheduling and personnel management and training.
Must be able to work independently and have strong written, verbal and computer skills.
Industry standard training in DOT/FTA drug and alcohol regulations, federal motor carrier and Cal-OSHA safety regulations.
Knowledge of the contractual obligations is a must to perform this job correctly.
Knowledge of company policy assures that the field operator is using consistent measures to assess a drivers' activity.
Experience managing fast paced environment.
Trapeze experience preferred.

Responsibilities
MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety and Training Manager. The Safety and Training Manager will be a hands-on manager helping implement programs and procedures in compliance with State and Federal regulations and corporate and client policies and be accountable for the leadership of OSHA/CDL at the division level.
Job Responsibilities:
Sets the tone for ensuring all operators are current with training requirements of company and contract.
Ensures all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are current and meet the needs of the operating divisions.
Resides as the expert in EPA and OSHA, CDL compliance and regulations.
Ensures all new hires meet minimum general qualifications for each division including background and DMV checks.
Ensures that safety technology tools are used and those results are examined, trend data is analyzed and plans are developed to reduce and then prevent future safety incidents.
Oversees corporate safety Incentives and programs managed effectively and consistently, including assignment of Safety Points.
Ensures a consistent safety culture throughout the locations that incorporate operations, safety and maintenance departments and emphasizes the team approach and individual responsibility of all employees to achieve common goals.
Work with corporate claims staff to ensure that all liability and worker's compensation claims are handled promptly and effectively and, in an effort, to reduce financial liability as well as recoup on all subrogatable claims.
Proactively manage all employee injury claims to minimize lost time and light duty claims. Work with local medical facilities to ensure that injured employees are placed on light duty as quickly as possible and are returned to full-duty status promptly.
Oversees successful completion of all related audits including those conducted by corporate and client staff and by state and federal regulatory agencies.
Leads the division in the area of safety organization regarding classroom and behind the wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects.
Qualifications
Talent Requirements:
Transit safety experience.
Experience working in transit, preferably urban public.
Previous passenger transportation in current project or similar environment preferred.
College Degree or five (5) + years of safety management experience.
Prefer CDS (Certified Director of Safety) and/or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) Designation. Certifications according to local contract requirements.

Transdev Services, Inc. seeks a motivated individual to join the team at our San Francisco Paratransit Office as a Contract Compliance Specialist.
Position Overview:This positionreports to the Director of Operations and is is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the performance of the SFMTA Paratransit contracted van and taxi operators including the San Francisco Paratransit Debit Card program (taxi). Candidate must be able to work dependably with integrity and achieve a high level of work product output with little, and at times, no direct supervision. While monitoring is generally split between taxi and van operations, occasionally, this position will back up the other monitoring position and thus will be cross-trained. Service provided includes paratransit service in accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) as amended.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:Typical work tasks include service quality monitoring using information from SF Paratransit's scheduling/trip and debit card transaction databases, van and taxi inspections and submission of various reports on service quality. Must be capable of inspecting service provider facilities, records, vehicles and "audit" training programs including those on passenger assistance, disability awareness, sensitivity, substance abuse, etc. Candidate must be capable of conducting follow up on specific complaints, especially those of a serious or recurring nature.
This candidate must be capable of developing and regularly filing a variety of reports, including field observation reports, general field/office activity summary reports various transaction and trip audit reports, and special reports as directed, and must be capable of working with data accessed from multiple databases. Some verification of trip provision through both telephone communications with passengers and visual monitoring will be required. Will be required to coordinate oversight of federal, state and local and contractual requirements such as FTA drug/alcohol testing standards, NTD reporting, SFMTA annual reporting, City and County of San Francisco taxicab ordinances and the SFMTA's minimum taxicab requirements.
The successful candidate must possess proficient computer skills and be capable of properly managing work time including balancing multiple tasks with varying deadlines and objectives. Good documentation skills, time management skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight are necessary. This individual must be creative, energetic, and reliable and must act professionally at all times when interacting with the public and team members.
Other Duties:
+ Will be required to attend regularly scheduled service provider, transit agency advisory committee or subcommittee meetings, and/or public meetings as needed, as well as driver training sessions, and training for supervisors and other personnel. These meetings are usually during the standard business day but may be scheduled during hours considered outside the standard workday.
+ Will attend and prepare minutes for at least one public meeting, quarterly, along with disseminating meeting announcements and recording meeting minutes.

+ Coordinate, organize, and maintain communication related to programs such as Group Van and Stair Assist.

MV Transportation is seeking a Safety Trainer who is responsible for the training and monitoring of new vehicle operators and is properly certified in the required techniques to ensure each new operator is as safe and prepared as possible. The Safety Trainer instructs operators on all policies and procedures, complying with Supplier guidelines, and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating all trainees as they progress through Supplier's safety training programs. Job Responsibilities:
Manage new hire and veteran operator training programs to ensure that all operators receive the minimum initial training and that all employees receive required annual and on-going training.
Provide and/or manage classroom and behind the wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects of vehicle operation in the course of passenger transportation, including defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading, unloading and securement, proper manifest documentation, use of on-board equipment, accident and emergency procedures, dispatch and radio communications, and passenger sensitivity.
Provide and/or manage monthly or annual ongoing/refresher training in topics relevant to the service and service area and in a timely manner.
Respond to and/or provide for trained staff response to operator accidents and incidents, ensuring appropriate collection of information, documentation of events, and reporting per company and client policy.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all training activities and accurate completion of all training related employee records.
Establish relationships with key client agency personnel to identify additional training needs, resources and opportunities.
Conduct regular audits of employee training files and vehicle maintenance files and conduct regular facility safety audits ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and related corporate policies.
Ensure that all project training materials are up to date, that necessary supplies are available and that inventories are secured and kept up to date.
Maybe required to perform road observations and training follow-up out in the field when not assigned to classroom duties.

Qualifications

MV Transportation is seeking an Attendant / Bus Aide to provide assistance to operators and passengers for safe transportation as well as to monitor passenger activity on the vehicle while enroute.

Examples of Key Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:
