About the role - CDL Class B Driver (Bloomsburg, PA) We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a CDL Class B Driver within our Orica USA Commercial team. This role will be responsible for driving and operating Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and installing blasting products for our customers at local construction sites, mines, and quarries as well as being accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment. Accurate delivery of a wide range of products to various customers in a safe manner and in a way that is not detrimental to the integrity of the product. Proper customer relations to ensure continued business. Delivery of products using a commercial vehicle, handcart, ramp, and any other piece of equipment used in prompt, safe deliveries. Communicate with transportation department personnel using cell phones. Recording of mileage and delivery time daily. Taking personal care of vehicle driven pertaining to cleanliness and maintenance. Attend and promptly arrive to all Transportation departmental bi-monthly meetings that have been stated as mandatory. Train new drivers on routes. Presents a professional image to internal/external customers and vendors with appropriate dress according to the work situation while maintaining good grooming and hygiene. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Clean CDL Class A license. Minimum of 1-2 years of prior delivery experience. Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis. Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner. Must be able to walk, bend, lift on a regular basis. Salary: $32.00-$35.00/ hour Shift: This position is a 4-day workweek schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
