* Meet with students in a one-to-one, small-group, drop-in, or classroom tutoring format(s) to give learning assistance.
* Check GMC email (or preferred email) weekly to receive work notifications.
* Each semester provide the Tutoring Coordinator a weekly schedule of when you are available for work. Inform the Coordinator at least 24 hours in advance if you are not able to keep your schedule or need to change your semester schedule.
* Take weekly attendance for all tutoring sessions
* Wait at least 15 minutes for a student to appear for their appointment. If students do not appear for their appointment, tutors may elect to use the remaining session time to prepare for other tutoring sessions.
* Contact instructors if necessary, to obtain course syllabi or materials or to discuss the curriculum.
* Attend mandatory tutor-training sessions as required Tutoring Campus Coordinator.
* Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Possess a minimum of a CDA in Infant and Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related area.
Significant experience and alternative training in early child care and development may be considered in lieu or degree.
Preferred:
Experience with children 3-5 years of age is.
Current CPR and First Aid certificates are desired.
Adhere to NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be willing to work at any of the centers within the program whenever needed.
Must be flexible and able to work anytime between the hours of Monday- Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Must be able to work indoors as well as transition the classroom to outdoors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possible exposure to communicable diseases.
Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids or tissues.
Job requires sitting for long period of time (during planning and reporting) and standing for long periods of time (during observations and training), as well as stooping, squatting, and running.
Must be able to occasionally lift 20 pounds overhead and 40 pounds from waist to shoulder.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant and color visions, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in the absence of the teacher. Substitute teachers are required to perform all of the duties of the teachers. Substitute assignments can be for just a day, a week, or sometimes for longer periods depending on the absence period of the regular teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of forty-five (45) college credit hours, 2.2 GPA or greater, unless a valid teacher certificate or valid paraprofessional certificate;
Must attend Chattahoochee- Flint RESA Substitute Training mandatory by the DOE unless a Georgia certified teacher;
