Teachers support the campus-wide community and whole school systems through active presence at daily duties, including but not limited to: arrival duty, dismissal duty, lunch duty, threshold presence at transitions, hallway / bathroom duty, and coverage for staff absences. The position is a 10-month academic position and is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position reports to a member of the school leadership team. Primary Duties Math Center tutors assist with answering students' math questions on a drop-in basis. Students who visit the Math Center may be enrolled in classes that range from Introductory Algebra to Differential Equations, with the majority of students being in College Algebra. List of Job Duties: * Ensure students sign in and sign out to help keep track of traffic in the Math Center at different times and days throughout the semester * Work alongside another instructor and/or student hourly to answer students' math questions from a wide range of courses * Submit bi-weekly timesheets to report hours worked in the Math Center, as well as leave requests for any absences that occur Required Competencies Math Center Student Hourlies should have a strong understanding and fluency of mathematics and its notation, ranging from basic math to Calculus. They should also have the desire and ability to patiently communicate math concepts to others, including those who struggle to learn math. Qualifications * Must be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semester * Applicants do not have to qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid. * Math Center Student Hourlies should have completed Calculus I or higher with an A. Ideally, they would also have their instructor's recommendation to work in the Math Center. Modify care plans as needs change. * Assist clients with symptom reduction (e.g. insomnia, anxiety, depression, and post-trauma symptoms, stress management, emotional dysregulation) * Use evidence-based models for treatment, including but not limited to CBT, solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, harm reduction, motivational interviewing etc. * Provide an integrated care approach to assessment and intervention for clients having difficulty managing their health due to multiple conditions/chronic disease. * Work closely and collaboratively within a team to provide support and coordination in addressing social issues and basic needs that are barriers to effective treatment and the client's ability to thrive. * Provide linkage to case management services and other community-based resources to assist with building a network of support outside of treatment. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR according to established protocols * Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review client caseload, treatment, concerns, and recommendations * Positively contribute to the financial health of the organization by ensuring delivery of clinical services. * Maintain positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with community stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and other professionals * Participate and contribute to team meetings, clinical supervision, and other meetings, as needed, to ensure cohesive department operations. * Enhance professional growth and development through participation in specialized training. * Complete all required documentation accurately, legibly and within established timelines. * Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee. * Provide therapeutic interventions that contribute to the recovery of individuals struggling with trauma, mental health and/or substance use. * Complete documentation to meet regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements. * Actively participate in and contribute to a team-based model to ensure integration of services and coordination of care to promote improved client outcomes. * Meet productivity standards for this job role.
