POSITION TITLE: Professional Tutor - Subject-Based (part-time) DEPARTMENT: Library Learning Commons (LLC) REPORTS TO: Dean of Library Learning Commons SALARY: $ 35.31 per hour. STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Professional Tutor will offer direct tutoring services to students and will participate in Library Learning Commons initiatives to help ensure delivery of quality academic tutoring services. Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of part-time Math Tutor for the 2025-2026 school year Responsibilities include working in small groups to support students with math concepts taught in the classroom. Provides individual and small group tutoring and assistance to students in the classroom. Most participants require supportive structures and staff assistance to maximize their involvement in activities within the program as well as within the local community. Our staff educate through the creation and implementation of individualized service plans, daily curriculum/activities, and have a heavy focus on community integration. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide support to the individuals served in a direct care role by ensuring a supportive and structured environment. The Teaching Assistant will provide guidance, advocacy, and life skills education for individuals served within the Day Program. Other Key Responsibilites: Implement all service and behavior plans with support from the interdisciplinary team Review and complete all required documentation.
