Job Description The Instructional Aide: High Impact Tutor is a part-time (10-20 hours/week), temporary (ending May 2026) role designed to serve students in grades 6-11 by providing customized instruction based on specific math or English gaps or the pre-requisite skills they need to practice. The incumbent will be assigned to work with small groups of students who are being pulled out of general education math classrooms during the school day for High Impact Tutoring. In this role, you will receive the opportunity to build relationships with students and diagnose, monitor, and drive accelerated learning of math concepts. Please note: Should you apply for this position, you will be doing so to IOTA Community Schools in general - not to a specific school site. If a school has an Instructional Aide: High Impact Tutor position open, they will review the general applicant pool for potential candidates and choose who to contact for an interview. Prepare various teaching aids and materials such as charts, graphs, and other related items using such methods as typing, duplicating, collating, stapling and other laminating. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience teaching in a KIPP or other high-performing charter school environment preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
