MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* College coursework with an earned "A" or "B" to be tutored. Professional tutors must have a degree, preferably a Bachelor's or a Master's in related teaching discipline.
* Ability to clearly demonstrate and explain knowledge of the course subject matter to students.
* Ability to work independently and with individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds.
* Ability to follow departmental procedures and guidelines.
* Ability to pass a Content Knowledge Test (for certain courses) with an 80% or above.

Maintain the program quality by using the student progress reporting system and Read Right field consultants as resources. Take follow-up action as necessary.
Maintain an open line of communication with students, teachers, administrators, trainers, and Read Right Systems to assure program quality.
Be accessible and respond promptly to student, teacher, administration, trainer, and Read Right Systems concerns and scheduling needs.

Work with Read Right consultants who come to train tutors.

Working Conditions:
