We are currently recruiting an Ultrasound Technician to help us continue our tradition of delivering quality OB/GYN care at our location in Carmel, IN for our Midwest Fertility Center. Scheduled hours to be as needed PRN coverage. Job Description: Provides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians including scheduling, patient care during procedure and communication with patients. Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images. Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient. Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control. Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty. Oversees patient scheduling. Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results. Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings. Conducts scanning procedures. Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment. Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies. Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files. Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions. Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
