I founded Unchained Labs to solve problems for biologics and gene therapy researchers and in 6 years we built a $60M+ business. I am excited about the opportunity to take Unchained to the next level with The Carlyle Group. I have raised nearly $200 million in venture capital, helped raise over $1 billion in the public equity markets and I have been part of 4 successful exits as an independent board member. I am enthusiastic about supporting other entrepreneurial teams and I am currently an Independent Director at LabVoice. I am married with 3 children and I love to golf, ride and coach.

He has worked as Dir:Finance at Mds Analytical Technologies GB Ltd; Director, Finance at MDS Pharma Services; and Vice President:Finance at Nektar Therapeutics. Jason studied at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1994 and 1997, Del Campo High School until 1992, and American River College between 1993 and 1994.
