The Brook Hospitals - KMI, located at 8521 LaGrange Rd is seeking a Full Time Housekeeper for our 4am-12:30pm shift (this shift will also have every/other rotating weekends 4am-11am).
The Housekeeper is responsible for daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA regulations.

Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies which may include: but not limited to performing scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Greeting patients following Conifer Standards of Care, provides world-class customer service, completes full patient registration at date of service, adheres to financial & cash control policies & procedures, thoroughly explains and secures Hospital & patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of services, Consent for treatment, Important Message from Medicare, EMTALA, etc.). Scan Protected Health Information, create and file patient information packets/folders for upcoming Hospital services. May also assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures (enters data in scheduling system, provide customer with appointment instructions, other tasks as needed).
* Educates patients about patient financial liabilities, employs proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during & after date of service, performs Hospital cash reconciliation & secured payment entry in adherence to financial & cash control policies & procedures.
* Secures medical necessity checks/verification in accordance to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services, verifies insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, completes assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtains insurance authorizations for scheduled & unscheduled Hospital services, and secures inpatient visit notification to payors. May also assist with scheduling and coordinating post discharge care for patients.

Responsibilities Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented full-time Mental Health Technician, 5 days per week, 2nd shift (2:45p-11:15p), working every other weekend.
The Mental Health Technician function as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. The Mental Health Technician work under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This is a non-exempt hourly 2nd shift positions, eligible for shift differentials on 2nd shift. Every other weekend is required.
Qualifications
Education: Must have High School Diploma, college preferred. CNA preferred.
Experience: Behavioral Health experience preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements: CPI/CPR training must be completed prior to working any unit independently. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Must complete and pass screening process.

Mental Health Technicians are responsible for completing safety checks on patients, leading a group of patients to activities within the facility, completing vitals, and other tasks associated with safety of the patients. Mental Health Technicians assist the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
Job Duties
* Performs safety checks daily and as needed per guidelines
* Knows location and condition of all patients at all times
* Ensure proper hand off of clinical information
* Assists in management of behavior and control of destructive/unsafe behavior per facility guidelines

* Education - High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
* Years of experience needed - No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
* Certifications - Must maintain current CPR certification.

* Communication - Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors.
