Job Description:
Behavioral Health Technicians serve as a positive role model for youth while providing close supervision and documenting behaviors. Must be a team player and recognize the importance of this position to positive student outcomes. Will ensure that students are meeting defined daily goals, including hygiene, unit activities, education & therapy meetings, etc. Will intervene during student crisis as necessary by using verbal de-escalation skills and other personal safety techniques. Facilitation of group interactions and ensuring students are behaving according to standards. By using positive verbal skills, educate students on appropriate behavior and possible consequences, and enact consequences if needed.

The Music Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic and evidence-based Music Therapy services at Salt Lake Behavioral Health in order to meet the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural needs of patients by a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). Qualifications
Your Qualifications will include:
* BS Recreation Therapy required, Utah TRS certification or CTRS highly preferred

* Prefer experience working with adolescents who have behavioral and/or mental health issues, BUT NOT REQUIRED
* Understanding of therapeutic activities for varying developmental ranges and be capable of working independently
* Experience with organizing indoor/outdoor and on/off campus activities
