Position Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks in the movement of solids and liquids. Under direct supervision, tasks could include all types of manual labor in cleaning and decontamination operations, vacuum projects and handling, packing, re-packing, unloading and loading containers for processing at site or transportation to appropriate facilities.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers. etc.)
Construct boxes and/or fiber containers and stacks, labels, and loads containers.
Use a variety of tools such as impact wrenches, shovels, jackhammers, etc.
Transport hazardous waste materials from storage facilities within the facility as directed.
Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and/or containers according to RCRA and disposal guidelines.

Perform general housekeeping duties.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Inspection material handling equipment as directed.

Job Description
The objective of the Business Development Manager position is to identify, develop and win opportunities with new customers and strategic accounts that can lead to energy services contracts in the Battery Energy Storage value chain. The position will be part of a focused team of hunters that can build relationships with prospects and find ways for Veolia to create sustainable value across the spectrum of smart buildings, energy management, commissioning and operations & maintenance.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, energy markets, and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge-either as a seasoned business development leader or as a battery energy storage project developer-and a proven track record of executing complex commercial partnerships.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for the Business Development Manager role is to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities and achieve targets for bringing in new business to the P&L.
Identify potential customers and conduct outreach to develop relationships with key decision makers in the client organization in order to assess opportunities with the company.
Tactical and consistent with the sales process including lead development, follow up, and maintaining the CRM database daily.
Act as primary focal point with the client and contribute as an ambassador for the Veolia brand.
Manage and participate in proposal preparation, pricing and presentations to customers.
Partner with operations to formulate technical proposals reflecting the strategic approach towards developing a new project.
Lead negotiations with clients, including preparation of contracts and possible structuring of financing solutions.
Manage internal development activities including technical audits by Veolia development engineers.
Must serve as a close liaison with other members in the Veolia team (operations, finance, legal, insurance, risk management, etc.) throughout the entire sales process.
Assess competitor strengths, weaknesses and strategic direction.

Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent commercial experience; Engineering undergraduate degree a plus.
7 - 10 years of experience in business development within the Energy & Utilities or Engineering Services industry; target experience in any or all of the following areas: Solar, Battery, Microgrids / Distributed Energy.
3+ years of experience selling in commercial, industrial, and public markets, with a focus on key players in the Battery ecosystems (Battery energy storage project developers, EPC contractors specializing in BESS Battery and inverter OEMs, Energy storage financing entities (tax equity, project finance, IPPs, funds), Utilities, C&I customers, and distributed energy aggregators)
Proven experience working in the Northeastern and/or Texas and Midwest markets.
Hands-on project experience working directly with clients.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in business development strategies, strong negotiation skills, and extremely driven to results.
Strong team player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines.
Ability to effectively present information.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to foster teamwork.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record if operating company vehicles.
P.E., CEM and other Industry relevant certifications / trainings are a plus.
Additional Information
Pay Range: $120000 to $150000 per year + variable compensation based on objectives.

Position Purpose:
The Sales Operations Manager will serve as the Business Process Owner for Salesforce and the business unit's internal sales management processes, ensuring adherence to governance standards and optimal utilization of Salesforce across the business development and sales teams. This individual will audit sales pipeline health, drive KPI tracking and process improvements, and oversee commission and pay incentive data administration for Finance/HR. The role requires a blend of technical Salesforce expertise, operational oversight, and analytical skills to support revenue growth in the nexus of water and energy.

:
Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator, with budget authority for tools/licenses.
Manage technical development/customization directly or through vendors.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance standards.
Governance & Utilization Oversight

Develop and enforce Salesforce usage policies for business development and sales teams.
Provide training and support to ensure consistent adoption and best practices.
Pipeline Health Auditing
:
Monitor and audit sales pipeline data for accuracy and completeness.

KPI Tracking & Process Improvement
:
Define, track, and report on key sales metrics.

Qualifications
