Job Description The Order Puller/Warehouse worker responsible for picking materials to fill orders, and putting away credits to return materials into stock. This individual works with others to check inventory levels to confirm low and out items, to insure proper storage and handling of materials, and to provide a safe and efficient workplace. Specific duties include: • Knowing the locations of inventory items and being able to properly identify stock and non-stock items according to delivery slip skus and descriptions. • Using order slips to pull correct materials and quantities for delivery. • Loading trucks according to the order in which deliveries will be made. • Ensure that individual loads are built and banded or fastened safely and securely, and can be delivered according to DOT regulations. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to low and out items as encountered. • Replenishing full units of material to the proper rack as old units are pulled through. • Checking quality of materials pulled for delivery to insure only acceptable materials are shipped. • Culling unacceptable materials from stock inventory area to assist co-workers in maintaining proper quality levels. • Alerting the Inventory Control Supervisor to culled and unacceptable materials. • Assisting the Dispatcher as required to provide information on orders, deliveries, or inventory; assisting with yard and warehouse maintenance and cleanliness; and unloading trucks, pulling loads, or making deliveries; or wherever else assistance may be required. The Inventory Specialist provides on-site support to the warehouse and storage areas within a cannabis cultivation facility. As an Inventory Specialist, you are responsible for tracking and auditing finished goods and raw materials within the facility. You may be cross-trained and asked to occasionally support other departments to meet business needs. This is a full time position at $17 per hour in our Rocky Hill (CTPharma) facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Track seed to sale of all products as they leave the facility. * Executes inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes inventory holding, maximizes stock tracking system, and ensure entry accuracy. * Support regularly scheduled and random inventory audits. * Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws. * Ensure any open audit issues are closed by showing evidence of required sustainment. * Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). * Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and storage areas. * Immediately inform Inventory Manager of any system discrepancies. * Ensure all products are correctly labeled and accounted for within the system. * Document and update product information and labeling using company's seed to sale system. * Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications * One (1) year experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility. * Previous experience in inventory management. * Able to follow detailed instruction and capable of performing regular system and physical inventory audits. * Positive attitude and works well with others in a team environment. * Effective time management and multitasking skills. * Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent. * Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry. Preferred Qualifications * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in a regulated production facility (food, beverage, CPG, etc.) preferred.
