We are currently seeking a temporary 12-week assignment with a fixed schedule, SLPA for our Glendale clinic location. Role Overview: Provide direct treatment and care for clients following treatment plans and protocols developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Plan and implement client-centered treatment activities and tasks to support skill development and progress towards established treatment goals Collect data and document progress towards established treatment goals Collaborate with the supervising SLP and parents/caregivers to support the therapeutic process and client progress Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner Requirements: Associate's degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 20 credit hours of speech-language pathology technical coursework Active speech-language pathology assistant license through Arizona Department of Health Services Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (LVP) or the ability to obtain clearance card Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required Bilingualism is a plus! Working Conditions: This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
