The Senior Hydrogeologist will support our local environmental remediation teams as well as our long-standing regional remediation practice. This position will support project management and provide technical support for groundwater and soil remediation projects across multiple industries in the South and Gulf regions with an initial primary focus on the heavy industrial and power sector clients. This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for an Air Monitoring Technician for our Lexington, KY office. Your Impact * Asbestos abatement project management and contractor oversight * Asbestos abatement air monitoring * Onsite analysis of asbestos PCM air samples * Conduct asbestos-containing materials surveys Adherence to health and safety plans, work plans, and other project guidance documents * Monitor project phasing plans and contractors' work to ensure quality control and contract compliance; documenting work progress and issues arising throughout scope of project. * Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work. * Attend pre-construction meetings and answer questions from contractors and other attendees. * Assist with calculating payments due to contractors for work completed. * Work collaboratively with other professionals, scientists, engineers, inspectors, project control, and technicians on assigned inspection phases, checks, and tasks. * Engage in occasional contact with client and contractor personnel to schedule and coordinate project inspection. * Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. * Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
