This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Part-time Office Coordinator for our Tallahassee, FL office. This position will be involved in projects with Team 6 and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Provides administrative support to staff in the office including scheduling of team/project/client meetings and drafting of minutes, follow-ups, communication, and coordination of activities in an office or project site (including catering orders meeting preparation, plus provides on-site support for day of meeting to include printing, catering, travel support for attendees, special seating needs, AV support)
Responsible for general office administration including office upkeep and liaison with building management for maintenance requests, issues (i.e., AC/heat service,) and building/parking access cards
Serves as receptionist, answers incoming calls, maintains phone list and welcomes guests as assigned
Processes incoming and outgoing U.S. and overnight mail, distributes incoming faxes/packages
Assists with ordering computers, accessories, and supplies and business cards for office employees
Provides assistance for new hire onboarding, completion of I-9's, etc. - this includes working with IT on all required new hire equipment along with collection of IT equipment and security cards for employees exiting the company
Coordinate onsite training events with outside vendors and online webinars, as directed
Coordinates safety and compliance programs for office, including maintenance of office standards - bulletin boards, inspections of fire extinguishers, AED, AED/CPR Certification, and first aid kits
Additional project assistance responsibilities may include tracking of task orders and project contracts, maintain project plans as well as project procedures manuals, workflows, QA review of reports/correspondences, and other field work coordination
May be assigned to assist with financial reports for office leaders which includes spreadsheet consolidation, tracking of data, senior staff tracking and travel/expense report support, and monthly/ period national budget and/or utilization reports
May assist marketing leads with tracking of RFPs and proposal timelines, and provide proposal delivery assistance
May assist with processing Accounts Payable and Sub queue invoices for the office
May be assigned to serve as on-site point of contact for coordination of IT issues with Service Desk team, including new computer setup, return out of service machines, server/HVAC/other equipment issues, A/V set-up assistance and responding to Service Desk emails for additional information
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in administrative support; Associate's Degree can substitute for 1 year of experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must be a self-starter capable of taking on tasks with little direction or supervision
Must possess a high level of professionalism and positive attitude when interacting with colleagues, clients, guests and other employees in the office
Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Office applications is required with emphasis on creating Excel spreadsheets, formatting Word documents and developing PowerPoint presentations
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks
Must possess excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
Must have initiative with ability to anticipate needs and complete important tasks without needing to be asked
Must be able to prioritize assignments with minimal supervision along with time management, resourcefulness, fine attention to detail and follow-through
Must be a strong team player
Must be able to use discretion and confidentiality
Possess technological skills necessary to perform data entry, manage team calendars, and create company reports as needed

Join Stantec's Cultural Resources team in and around our Riverview, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, FL offices to play an integral role in conducting archaeological survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring. Stantec is seeking archaeological technicians for an upcoming Phase III project in Tennessee, scheduled to begin in October, with the possibility of extension. Priority will be given to those with Phase II or Phase III experience. There is also potential for further work beyond this project. These will be project-based positions and may require travel for several weeks at a time (until project completion). Paid travel day, standard GSA per diem, and single occupancy rooms provided by Stantec. Typical work shifts are 6 days on (8-10 hour days) / 1 day off (Sunday).
Your Key Responsibilities
The position will primarily consist of fieldwork but may include laboratory work such as cleaning and cataloging artifacts, analysis, and research. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to performing archaeological fieldwork tasks including controlled surface survey; shovel test survey; and excavation. Duties may also include cleaning and cataloging artifacts.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience in Phase II testing or Phase III data recovery projects preferred
- Experience on Phase I survey projects
- Previous experience with mapping equipment and other special application equipment (e.g., emlid, digital data collection, etc.)

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in anthropology/archaeology or related field, or combination of education and experience

- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in remote areas and/or humid continental climate, including walking, hiking, carrying heavy loads, and digging
- Frequent out-of-town travel, potentially for extended periods of time

- Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to operate motorized vehicles

Your Opportunity
Stantec's Environmental Services practice seeks a Senior Acoustics/Noise Consultant to support our expanding U.S. environmental noise, vibration, and acoustics (NVA) practice. In this role, you would collaborate with our scientists and engineers supporting clients in a variety of sectors, including renewable energy, power generation, data center, oil and gas, site development and planning, transportation, industrial, and federal markets. The NVA team provides support throughout project development, from conceptual design phases to post-construction evaluations. Specifically, the NVA team provides a full suite of specialized technical services including planning, design, noise/vibration monitoring, noise modeling, permitting, public outreach, expert witness, and post-construction studies.
This opportunity location is flexible, within our established U.S. office locations. Preferred office locations include Plymouth (MN), Chicago (IL), Madison (WI), Detroit (MI), Atlanta (GA), Austin (TX), Houston (TX), Oklahoma City (OK), Atlanta (GA), and Tampa (FL).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage noise/acoustics projects and tasks from proposal to completion, delivering projects on schedule, and within scope and budget.
- Conduct, and/or oversee staff completing, field measurements, technical analyses, modeling, and reporting.
- Analyze and interpret acoustical modeling results, evaluate noise mitigation measures, and document the results of acoustical analyses through development of technical reports.
- Present at public meetings and appear as expert witness for acoustics projects.
- Contribute to training of junior staff in field work, analysis, modeling, and report preparation.
- Support the expansion of NVA team acoustics service offerings.
- Support client relationship, business development and marketing activities.
- Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends, software, and technology.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience in environmental acoustics/noise assessments is required.
- Experience with natural gas pipeline and compressor station noise studies (e.g., FERC requirements) is preferred.
- Experience with acoustic measurement practices, software, and instrumentation is required.
- Experience with acoustical modeling software (e.g., CadnaA, or similar) and technical tools to support acoustics/noise analyses (spreadsheets, GIS, AutoCAD) is required.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Experience reviewing local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements is required.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically for field work, including multi-day trips to various locations within the United States, is required.
- Strong work ethic, high ethical and quality standards, and a desire for team success.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with vibration, underwater noise (hydroacoustics), transportation noise (e.g., TNM modeling), and building acoustics is beneficial.
- Familiarity with scientific programming languages for data processing and analysis (e.g., Matlab, Python) is beneficial.
Education and Experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in acoustics, engineering, physical sciences, or a related field. Master's degree is beneficial. Coursework in acoustics is preferred.

- Locations in MN, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 107,100.00 - Max Salary $ 160,700.00

Your Opportunity
Join Stantec's Cultural Resources team in and around our Riverview, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, FL offices to play an integral role in conducting archaeological survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring. Stantec is seeking archaeological technicians for an upcoming Phase III project in Tennessee, scheduled to begin in October, with the possibility of extension. Priority will be given to those with Phase II or Phase III experience. There is also potential for further work beyond this project. These will be project-based positions and may require travel for several weeks at a time (until project completion). Paid travel day, standard GSA per diem, and single occupancy rooms provided by Stantec. Typical work shifts are 6 days on (8-10 hour days) / 1 day off (Sunday).
Your Key Responsibilities
The position will primarily consist of fieldwork but may include laboratory work such as cleaning and cataloging artifacts, analysis, and research. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to performing archaeological fieldwork tasks including controlled surface survey; shovel test survey; and excavation. Duties may also include cleaning and cataloging artifacts.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Experience in Phase II testing or Phase III data recovery projects preferred
* Experience on Phase I survey projects
* Previous experience with mapping equipment and other special application equipment (e.g., emlid, digital data collection, etc.)
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Detail oriented; resourceful; self-motivated; strong initiative
* Positive and energetic attitude
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in anthropology/archaeology or related field, or combination of education and experience
* Successful completion of an archeology field school
* Full-time, professional experience conducting archaeological survey and excavation
* Knowledge of prehistoric and historic material culture
* Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in remote areas and/or humid continental climate, including walking, hiking, carrying heavy loads, and digging
* Frequent out-of-town travel, potentially for extended periods of time
* Qualified applicants should exhibit strong technical skills, good communication skills, and feel comfortable making decisions in the field
* Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to operate motorized vehicles

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
