This role involves preparing and operating advanced imaging equipment, assisting in procedures, and ensuring patient safety. The IR Tech works collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care while adhering to strict safety and infection control standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the interventional radiology suite by setting up sterile fields, instruments, and imaging equipment. Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, and drain insertions. Operate fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for accurate procedure guidance. Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients for potential adverse reactions. Monitor and document patient vitals, procedural details, and imaging data throughout the procedure. Qualifications: Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) is preferred.
