The CT Technologist participates in various assigned tasks related to Imaging technology. This role performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner while following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Administer intravenous contrast media when necessary.
Maintain imaging equipment and assist with quality control measures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging in radiography.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
Must be licensed in CT by the OBMI or registered in CT by the ARRT.
BLS certification from the AHA is required within 90 days of hire.
2 years of outpatient experience is preferred.
Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging systems is preferred.
Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement.
