Position Overview
The Warehouse Team Member (Cold Storage) operates a forklift or other powered industrial truck to receive, ship, pick, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
This role is responsible for the safe and efficient use of all equipment, as well as order selection and checking as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Exemplify all core values and guiding principles of RLS Logistics.
Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
Receive and ship freight; verify counts against driver BOLs.
Identify and reconcile count variances; make notations and obtain driver signatures.
Prepare over, short, and damage reports as required.
Select orders by product type and lot number, assembling cases neatly on pallets or carts.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure all products are handled properly in the freezer environment.
RequirementsEducation

2 years of Stand-Up Reach Forklift experience.

Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently load milk products onto trailers using proper equipment and techniques.
Complete all assigned loads on time while maintaining full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding routes, delays, mechanical issues, or any operational concerns.
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Follow all food safety and milk-handling protocols to protect product integrity.

Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
Minimum age: 23 years old.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
At least 1 year of liquid tanker experience is required.

Clean MVR (No more than 2 moving vehicle violations in the past 3 years)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Milk Handler Certification.
Current Medical Card and the ability to meet insurability requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) and Hours-of-Service requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to drop and hook trailers efficiently.
Ability to climb ladders to inspect trailer seals.
