This Position reports to:
Customer Operations Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide internal and external customer support (e.g. technical /order related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Provide technical support via email and phone to the customers
Manage products variants and customization requests. Ensure all requirements are captured and acted upon by partnering with relevant business unit and or external resources.
Create and maintain SFDC to track each service request. Use telephony system and department emails to communicate at all time.
Keeping the customers proactively informed on the issue status based on the inputs received and clarifying their doubts

Job Qualifications:

+ Provide technical assistance and support to company engineers and equipment end users in the quick and efficient startup of newly installed wastewater equipment, training of site personnel in the operation and maintenance and repair of the equipment.
+ Work in industrial, municipal water, and wastewater facilities that may be under construction or already existing and may be required to travel internationally as well as domestically, with some extended stays. Work may exceed eight hours per day.
+ Be responsible for the commissioning of both single water treatment devices as well as entire industrial systems.
+ Maintain standard internal documents and reports, scripting details & updating tasks including managing and separating work done, and work to be done to maintain typical project schedules.
+ Use Microsoft Office suite daily and internal programs such as on-line travel assistants and electronic expense reporting programs (SAP, Concur ideal).

Pre-Sales:
Provide pre-sales technical support during feasibility, design, and tender stages to outside sales, distributors, and consulting engineers, while being assisted by Engineering in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
Assist Engineering Team, who is responsible for providing technical and product expertise, as well as researching and gathering data to understand how to meet the customers consultancy needs or solve the customer problem.
Work closely with internal colleagues, subject matter experts, and technical and commercial resources to review tender documents.
Provide essential support to the sales team in quotation creation process for engineered projects.
Contribute as a technical consultant in efforts to prepare and review project bid package.
Provide product and application expertise, design support, technical drawing support, etc. Advise sales team on technical requests and implications as they relate to the project.
Aid Application Engineers and Sales, who are responsible for providing a detailed review of all technical documentation for a project including specifications, plans, drawings, etc. Ensures the proposal is technically viable, and feasible.
Post-sales:
Work closely with the Engineering Team to prepare and review technical submittals on time and follow up closely with customer for approval.
Review specifications and ensure submitted drawings are compliant.
Address promptly the questions from customers on the drawings submitted.
Work in collaboration with third party vendors to ensure the customer requirements are fully met.
Work closely with the party who requested post sale support to gain deeper understanding of request and scope the need.
Support the project managers in providing technical solutions to the customers and Engineers.
Provide support to the application engineers in conducting application training for customer service and operations.
Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required
0-2+ years of relevant experience. Engineer-in-training (EIT) and recent graduates welcome!
Ability to use consistent business processes to achieve desired results, including ability to react appropriately and timely to changing business needs.
Willingness and ability to always provide superior customer service.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Summary: Possesses a working knowledge of equipment, testing/sampling procedures, environmental program, and machinery currently utilized by ABB Installation Products, Ormond Beach, as related to the plating facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must meet or exceed company requirements for safety Must successfully complete all required safety/skills training. Compiles and records production data and utilizes such data to efficiently plan and schedule production requirements Technician can make minor adjustments to a machine/manufacturing process. Must be familiar with, and work in accordance to latest revisions of applicable work instructions. Must follow quality plans, read and apply work instructions, and determine job specifications and material requirements. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble and notify maintenance/supervision of the issue. Maintain and DCR (dump, clean, refill) baths as required Diagnoses sampling data, and implements corrective action to maintain compliance levels of metal content in wastewater treatment. Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using x-ray machine and thread gages. Performs minor machine maintenance such as cleaning flight bars and or connections per work instructions. Visually inspects lines and components to detect leaks, damage, and wear. Recognizes HAZMAT conditions, where necessary. Maximize efficiency of plating operations utilizing SPC and/or analytical test methods ensuring consistent quality products and standards are met. Ability to work overtime as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.
