Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations affecting derivatives and trading, and communicate implications to relevant business units. Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and controls related to derivatives and trading. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal and regulatory issues in derivatives and trading. Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and industry bodies as necessary. What you need to have JD from a US accredited law school and license to practice, in good standing, in at least one of the fifty states. Minimum of 5 years of experience advising on derivatives, trading, and financial products, at a law firm, regulator or SRO, or in‑house legal department of a financial institution.
