Welder Reports To: Foreman Summary: Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products. Welder must be able to pass a welder qualification test consisting of but not limited to 6G pipe or 5G Butt/Branch under one of these codes: IE API 1104, ASME B31.3, B31.4 to be considered a welder. Chip or grind excess weld, slag or spatter by using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders or arc cutting equipment.
