Job Description: The Strategic Accounts Vice President is a senior executive responsible for leading the company's most critical and complex enterprise customer relationships. This role serves as a trusted advisor and business partner to C-level stakeholders, ensuring long-term alignment, joint value creation, and sustainable revenue growth. This individual will manage a small portfolio of very large enterprise customers-often global in scale-driving strategic engagement, business transformation initiatives, and collaborative innovation. The ideal candidate is an expert in relationship development, executive influence, and leading cross-functional strategies for multi-million-dollar partnerships. Key Responsibilities Executive Relationship Management Serve as the senior executive liaison to key enterprise accounts, developing multi-level stakeholder relationships including C-suite and board-level executives. Facilitate strategic executive business reviews and ongoing alignment conversations to reinforce long-term value. Act as a strategic advisor to the customer, identifying new opportunities to support their growth and transformation agendas. Strategic Planning & Growth Build and manage joint strategic plans aligned to customer goals, industry shifts, and mutual business value. Lead co-innovation, product alignment, and go-to-market collaboration initiatives where applicable. Expand the footprint of the partnership through upsell, renewal, and multi-year expansion planning. Operational Leadership Partner with internal teams-Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support-to deliver on customer commitments and ensure a unified customer experience. Drive internal accountability around service delivery, program milestones, and key success metrics. Anticipate risks and proactively manage escalations to protect the relationship and brand integrity. Performance Management & Insights Define and track success metrics including customer satisfaction, NPS, renewal rates, and revenue contribution. Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to both internal leadership and the customer. Provide voice-of-customer insights to help shape the company's product, service, and growth strategies. Governance & Compliance Establish and lead formal governance structures for each enterprise account (e.g., steering committees, quarterly reviews, executive sponsors). Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and service-level agreements. Qualifications Required: 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise customer success, or partnership leadership roles. Proven success managing Fortune 100 or Fortune 500 customer relationships worth $50M+ in lifetime value. Exceptional executive presence with ability to build trust and influence at the highest levels. Demonstrated strength in cross-functional leadership and orchestration of global account teams. Strong business acumen and understanding of complex enterprise buying behaviors and business models. Preferred: Background in cloud services, professional services, or enterprise technology environments. Global or multi-national customer management experience. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred. Expertise in strategic planning frameworks, account growth modeling, and co-selling strategies. Perform profit/loss analyses. Hire and mentor new team members. Manage the personnel budget. Track and itemize inventory. Ensure that customers receive the highest level of care Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash. Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment. Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University. Minimum Requirements: 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction Computer expertise Organizational expertise Management proficiency in a high-volume retail operation with profit and loss (P&L) accountability Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record High school diploma or equivalent Able to work weekends and holidays Work Environment: The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
