Summary
Classification Function
The purpose of this classification is to monitor the sanitary sewer system and to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic equipment at sanitary sewer pumping stations and treatment facilities.
Distinguishing characteristics
This is a progressive entry-level to journey-level classification with responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer system. Employees in this class initially work under direct supervision, progressing to general supervision as the incumbent becomes able to perform independently the full range of duties associated with this classification. This classification works within a framework of defined procedures and regulations; however, some exercise of judgement is required on details of work. This class is distinguished from the Pump Station Mechanic 2 classification in that the later class requires more experience and specialization.
* During their first six (6) months, a new Pump Station Mechanic 1 becomes generally knowledgeable of general work rules, policies, procedures, and relevant regulations of the Ohio EPA.
* By the end of the third year, the employee performs proficiently at the journey level.
Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
* Maintains sanitary sewer system and pumping and treatment stations including pumps, motors, sludge handling, chemical feed equipment, power systems, transformers, and/or variable frequency drives. Completes routine equipment inspections and makes minor repairs and adjustments; performs routine preventative and predictive maintenance; performs emergency field assistance to disabled equipment; adjusts and installs equipment and/or parts; operates and maintains diagnostic instruments and tools. Creates and maintains detailed records of system operations, data readouts, and maintenance. May assist with planning and coordination of maintenance activities. Organizes and helps train other crew members; discusses problems in the field with residents; informs supervisor of emergent or unusual situations.
* Performs general labor, maintenance, and repair activities including services to buildings and grounds. Transports equipment and/or transports other crew members to assigned job site in assigned vehicle. Interprets maps to determine directions to the location of the repair or service. Uses mobile phone or two-way radio to communicate with dispatcher or supervisor.
* Performs related administrative responsibilities and other related work as assigned; reads and prepares written and electronic records, various reports, and other documentation; restocks log sheets; records appropriate data; files and scans paperwork as needed; responds to emails and phone calls; attends various trainings and meetings; conducts inventory control; and disperse equipment and materials.
Minimum Requirements
* High school diploma or GED with two (2) years of experience in wastewater treatment operations, experience maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, variable frequency drives); or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Valid driver license and proof of automobile insurance

As a 3rd Shift Tether Line Loader or Unloader Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line during the day hours. Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
In this role, you will report to the Production Supervisor and work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills to navigate our production systems and input data accurately.

The Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts that run on Electric, Gasoline, L.P. Gas, Diesel, and CNG. Other duties will be working with transmissions, drive axles and differentials, braking systems, cylinders, hoses and attachments, steering systems, and more.
